Wind ranges are dependent on pilot skill and intended use. Pilots with more experience may be more comfortable at the extreme ends of the wind ranges. If you are planning to compete, you may want a kite that is more powered up. If you are just out for a day of tricking, you may want a bit less power, making it easier to stall, and initiate the tricks. While the kites may fly below the shown ranges and may not break above them, it is recommended to stay within these ranges to insure peak performance.

Use this chart only as a guide. Find your "normal" wind range and look for the kites best suited for that range.
